Everton 'Sarge' Edwards
Everton 'Sarge' Edwards is a veteran sports professional whose four-decade career spans collegiate football, elite women's soccer, high school athletics, MLS, national-team development, senior international football, Arsenal FC, coach education, and sports administration. His legacy lies not just in his longevity, but in his proven ability to build programmes, mentor coaches, and create sustainable pathways across every level of the game.
Sarge's career is a seamless continuum of impact — from establishing himself as a standout goalkeeper and winning an NCAA championship at FIU, to building the FIU women's soccer programme from the ground up, coaching undefeated state championship teams, guiding the U.S. national team development pipeline, and serving as an assistant coach for the Jamaica Reggae Girlz. Across all these roles, and extending into senior leadership, his core mission has remained unchanged: develop people through football and leave every programme stronger than he found it.
